UAB Naujasis Nevėžis breakfast cereals oho! Kviečiai su medumi (150 g) (Wheat with honey) earned the most popular breakfast cereals of 2009 award in the competition the Most Popular Product of 2009 for the first-ever time organised by the Association of Lithuanian Trade Enterprises.
The most popular products were selected according to the amounts of these products sold at the chain stores MAXIMA LT, RIMI LIETUVA, NORFOS MAŽMENA and AIBĖS MAŽMENA during 2009. This competition attracted 750 products and 91 suppliers. The mark The Most Popular Product of 2009 marks the most popular good in a certain group of products.

In 2010 UAB Naujasis Nevėžis was BRC certified in level A

Naujasis Nevėžis has been found to conform to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 5)  and its requirements for category 17. This certificate is valid for the following product or service ranges: development, manufacture and sale of the breakfast cereals, salty and sweet snacks and similar foodstuff.
Product certification according to this standard ensures the company’s capability to guarantee the safety and quality of its products. The BRC standard is one of the most effective means for a company to select qualified suppliers by b reducing the total costs of supply chain management and enhancing the safety level for its customers, suppliers and consumers. All of the advantages provided by this standard have a direct impact on the company’s capacity of competing on the global level and expanding its export possibilities.
